Joking aside, what would it take for Jones' seat to get hot?

What would it take for him to be fired mid season?

What would it take for him to be fired after the season?

This is terrible.

Sad thing is North Florida shoots great from 3 point land and he is letting them run loose. But the lack of rebounding and 16 first halve second chance points. He cannot even coach against teams he knows what they are gonna do. He keeps this up and does it make the NCAA tournament this year I believe he is gone

No. The excuse will be his team was very young.

This is one of the worst LSU teams I've seen in a while. His seat will be hot by midseason if this continues. With an overall losing record this season I think he's gone, because we're not going to be more talented than we are right now, and this is all he can do with that talent.

I gotta think that if we didn't even make the NCAA tournament with this incredible recruiting class, that would be enough to push him out the door.

Also, I dont think we'll be recruiting very well with him anymore if things keep going like this.

Before the year I said he needed to make it to the sweet sixteen. Last year the guy had 2 first round draft picks and barely made the tourney.

No sense in delaying the inevitable. JJ is clueless.

If trent Johnson wasn't cut loose after going 22-40 over consecutive seasons, you can forget about lsu pulling the trigger on johnny jones anytime soon.
he could go winless in the conference and take a shite on alleva's doorstep and he'll still retain his job.

Do they even practice? He was never a smart player and he may be even a dumber coach.
