because we won? I still don't think JJ is that good of a coach, but he is one of the best recruiters in the country. Im happy as shite we won, but is just my opinion and i hope you respect it.

I didn't get to watch the game, but I clicked to see if there was any new coaching news. I clicked on the rant and see LSU is down by 2 to a ranked opponent on the road. I scroll down and I see this thread, plus others, with just disgust of the basketball team. I had to check back at the game thread to make sure the score was the 2 point game I thought I had originally saw.

Unless we win every game convincingly in every sport, there will be cries of incompetency from a lot of our fans - fans, who in a million years, would never have a clue what to do if they were called upon to coach a college ball club.

A couple weeks back I would have agreed with you. The last two games they have shown tremendous improvement. They still play out of control sometimes but, they are very young, haven't played together much. I'm optimistic.

I think if you see how well Tuba was under CJJ than he was when TJ was coach you can see some difference. He still wasnt good but he was decent. Also look at the improvement of TQ and even Odo. Cjj is by no means a Izzo or Bo ryan but he is decent coach.

Jones might very well be a poor game day coach, but he's still light years better than Trent Johnson. Dude rode the Lopez twins at Stanford and Marcus and Temple and now that he doesn't have NBA talent handed to him he can't do shite

Absolutely the right play was called. Mickey drew out their tallest defender on the pick and left no shot blocking presence on the floor. And we had the floor spaced with shooters.
