This "source" who says that Jones firing is gonna happen is stupid. LSU has not said in a press release (yet) that he has been fired. Even the ADVOCATE quoted "a source" close to the university. Once again, Aleva is letting this dumb situation drag on.

I believe the report said after the SEC tourney. LSU is done, but the SEC tourney isn't. So there's that, I guess.

We find always better to fire people on a Friday. Studies have statistically shown that there’s less chance of an incident if you do it at the end of the week.

Maybe he's giving JJ a day or 2 to wind down everything and say his goodbyes to the team. It's not really dignified to meet a coach at the airport to fire him.
