I don’t care about coach O politics and would doubt he is a democrat....but I know he is politicking as much as Edwards and wants as many supporters as he can... they are both using each other

I could care less what a Vanderbilt graduate thinks about LSU football

The more I hear about O the more I dislike him. It all makes sense how this guy ended up taking a knife and twisted it in Miles back. He's a real piece of a shite tbh.
When you look at this guy's inner circle...it says a lot about his character. No wonder he has guys like Ponamsky under his umbrella.

Finally a Rantard who makes sense.
Eaux stabbed the guy who hired him in the back. He did this thinking that LSU would hire Jimbo Fisher. When Jimbo fell through he thought LSU would hire Tom Herman. Either way he would probably be fired also.
Do I have that correct Rantard?
You are saying Eaux schemed to get the guy who hired him fired so he could in-turn get fired?
Makes perfect sense to me. Congrats on your brilliance.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and LSU football coach Les Miles congratulate each other for major victories Saturday night -- Jindal's re-election and LSU's defeat of Auburn. Jindal also is offering a wager to the governor of Alabama on LSU's big game with the Crimson Tide on Nov. 5.
That would be a quite significant Nov 5 in LSU football lore, going from 3-2 with close losses vs Saban, to praying for field goals to avoid goose eggs, smdh.

Now that’s some impressive mental gymnastics. It’s no wonder how you come up with the nonsense you do, you have quite the imagination.

A wild imagination is ree's strongest suit.

Coach O and the Guv are close personal friends. While I prefer coaches to stay neutral on politics, I admire O for having the guts and loyalty to support his friend. Most public figures would not do that. Saban did the same tihing in WV by endorsing Joe Manchin.

I suppose there could be a different reason he had everyone waiting on him to declare only to opt out late, leaving a popular incumbent to face Rispone and Abraham. The state GOP is probably not mad.

On Thursday, Orgeron introduced Edwards at a fundraiser for Edwards’ re-election campaign, calling the Democrat incumbent “a man of great character, great integrity.”
Not necessarily an Edwards fan, but don’t see the issue with this. He said some nice words about the guy and introduced him at his re-election campaign. Not like he spoke negatively about the other candidates that may be running for office against Edwards.

O should have taken the opportunity to ask JBE if LSU can afford football, this fall. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive that guy for that one.
Yep, I was willing to give the guy a chance until that ignorant BS.

Who signs O’s checks?
There’s your answer.

I’m pretty sure that state employees can’t campaign for people. That’s what this is and it’s wrong.
Coach O is an unclassified state employee, so he can campaign for people. Classified stated employees are not allowed.

I knew there was a reason I liked Coach O so much!

Not as a state employee, he can’t. At least not publicly.
I am nine pages into this stupid fricking thread and still waiting for one person to get their facts straight about the rules. Orgerin in this instance did absolutely nothing wrong according to said rules.
