Seems as we are losing a step in landing the 4 star RB I wonder why?

You’ll get the following excuses:
He wants to be the lone back in the class
Father hates LSU
Girlfriend going to State
Same shite that was said about Chase 12 months ago.
If they lose John they have to land Noah Cain

I'm not sure how that's an excuse, if that's something he truly wants, it's not something LSU can offer. More of a reason than an excuse.

He isn't the only RB in the country. If he goes elsewhere then LSU moves on to the next guy

This is true. BUT I think T. Davis may actually be better than both Emery and Cain. I say that not cuz he is committed to us but from watching his film. He’s a beast!

If his reason would be the first you listed then LSU doesn't need him. They need guys who are willing to compete and win the job no matter who is on the roster.

It sucks to lose out on an instate guy and he is a loss. But there are so many good rb I don't see it as a problem.
