I'm surprised that there's still not too much talk about JD. On the TD pass, he snatched a bullet out of the air with ease and ran over the Wisky defenders with relative ease. We need to get him the ball 8-10 times a game minimum.

8-10 times minimum??

I can't remember the last time we had a receiver average 8-10 catches per game. Josh Reed had 94 catches in 12 games, 7.8catches a game.

And Dural is our WR1 anyways. Diarse looks like he's gonna be a great WR. But Dural is still our go to guy

The guy basically won the game for us. He made that play on 3rd and 21. What if he didn't make that play and we had to try long FG instead, and missed? I made my initial statement because I flipped through the pages and didn't find Diarse as a thread topic until page 11. Hmmm.

100+ catches is a bit much don't you think?

Do all of his touches have to be passes? DUH!

So you want to take touches away from our extremely talented running backs?

ETA: Seeing that run after the catch I wouldn't mind seeing him return a couple of punts, though.

He definitely looks like the kind of guy you can just do whatever with. Long passes, short screens, intermediate routes, etc. Like I said, his TD catch reminded me of Dez Bryant. Just a pure freak.

You don't get Diarse the ball. Diarse takes it. And then leaves you looking at the bottom of his cleats.

I'm going to go ahead and, in my mind, just consider Dural to be OBJ v.2 and Diarse a larger Landry v.2

That makes me smile inside and out.

If Diarse doesn't throw the ball at least 10 times, I'm turning in my fan card.

He made a good move and avoided a tackle. If you go back and look at the play, #85 was about to tackle him and he got hit in his stomach by his own player. Diarse is good but we only have one ball and Les will distribute it as best he can.

Well, all I can say is the guy had two chances and made two big plays - the second one huge. Both plays showed his ability to break tackles or just run over people. I'm all for our running game - which will improve as the season goes - but I didn't see any of them run over anyone like JD did.

I don't think we have to worry about touches. Teams are going to start doubling or at least spying Dural with a safety because of his speed. That is going to open things up for both Diarse and Quinn. If Jennings can throw the intermediate routes as well as he did Saturday, those two are going to get plenty of work.

Now if Chi goes out there and tears it up right out of the gate as well, then we're talking about a serious headache for every DC we face.
