I agree that Brady was 100% the best "game day" coach. Recruiting..... nah. Daddy Dale was the best recruiter but an average "game day" coach.

I'd be begging Brady to come out of retirement and be the bench coach.

Its amazing how many people have forgotten how bad/disappointing some of Brady’s teams were.

It’s hilarious how bad some fans memories are. Bring back Brown, Brady, etc we have sucked under all those

They both had their issues and sucked at times, but they both went on fantastic runs and took LSU to the Final Four (Brown took LSU to two), so they didn't always suck under them.

I don't feel that Wade has been quite the same since the suspension, etc. He used to seem to seem more demanding of his players, but now he seems to be more of the clap and encourage type. I see the players making the same mistakes too often.

Brady's overall record was hampered by the draconian sanctions that the program faced when he inherited the program...

I would say which coach doesn't have disappointing teams besides Kentucky, but they been disappointing this season as well.
Maybe this is just another curse of 2020 and will improve next season.
This team definitely doesn't have the ingredients/players to be successful.

Solid troll job.

Memories are short. His teams played decent defense but they were extremely frustrating on the offensive side. Take out that year with the final 4 run and his teams constantly under performed and recruiting was average.

Now that everyone is over the wade fascination I wish the ncaa would complete this investigation so everyone can move on
I’m not saying he’s guilty but it’s time to come clean and if LSU has to start over it’s time

I kept saying Brady should have been named interim coach when the Wade suspension was going down. Brady would have wrecked shop in the tournament with that team.

I don’t know if this is serious or not because of how stupid it is. This board is a dumpster fire, so I’ll take my downvotes and be on my way after I educate you a bit, you (majority) dunces.

Dale Brown - 15 straight NCAA tournament appearances (only 11 other coaches in history have done so) - made the tournament 60% of the time as LSU coach. 2 Final Four appearances. 54% win % in conference play. Recruited Shaq and Chris Jackson to LSU, two of the best college basketball players of all time. Shaq possibly the most dominant player in the sport all time. Beat Kentucky 18 times.

John Brady - 3 NCAA tournament appearances in 11 seasons - 27% of the time as LSU coach. 1 Final Four appearance with a great squad mostly hailing from Baton Rouge area. 44% win % in SEC play. Fat-lipped asshat who spit and screamed his way through 11 seasons of utter frustration for fans who actually watched games.

But yeah, Brady best coach. “Best game day coach.” Hahaha. “I would say which coach doesn't have disappointing teams besides Kentucky...” Hahahaha

Maybe you were just trolling. But some people don’t get it. Many you need an education in what “Bad” times in LSU basketball were. Now is not a “bad” time except for the Wade recruiting stuff. Not the product on the court. You folks can hate Dale Brown all you want for whatever reason. You obviously weren’t alive during that era, or you weren’t paying attention. Or maybe you were and you’re just an imbecile. Only you know that answer.

Brady is involved with the radio broadcast and not actively trying to destroy the program like Dale Brown is so Brady wins.

At least Brown and Brady had enforcers in the middle, Wade refuses or just can't find a big man who will stay or play in his system. O'Neal and Watford are stretch big men, they aren't your traditional rebounding, rim protecting and dunking machines. And this Gray kid doesn't look ready for the big time...seems uncoordinated and lost. Makes sense that he's not getting playing time.

I liked Dale Brown a lot he made LSU basketball fun and relevant, but his record against Kentucky was like 18 wins and 33 losses.

Which is the most wins any coach has vs. Kentucky.

Recruiting..... nah.

He was a pretty good recruiter, he just ran players off constantly so we always had no depth.
