I just checked the LSU Eunice site to see how Joey Bourgeois did in his last season at LSUE.
It says he was 12-2 with a 5.90 ERA. In 87 innings pitched he gave up 102 hits.
Why is this guy a member of the weekend rotation? Was he injured last year at LSUE? Anyone see him in the fall?

It is called "spring" practice in baseball before the start of the season to differentiate it with "fall" practice.

What kind of stuff does Joey have? Does he rely on power, location or a mixture? This is one of the more interesting storylines of the weekend IMO.

I'm really worried about Bourgeois. He's a big question mark. Hopefully he'll impress.
