Can't wait to see Ohio State claim Johnson too when LSU turns him into a 1st round pick CB.

Agreed!
I thought the snow would’ve worked against them too.
All that said, I think those backup OL really came to play today. They really gotta bring it again next week

Half of the Rant (the good half) could have been OC 2019 and at least won the SEC championship with that roster.

A real shot? Dude has a few more seasons like this, he’s a HOF’er

I always say that because you never know what can happen. As long as he stays healthy and the Bengals’ FO handles its biz, he should get there.

Some people just don’t know when to STFU.

Can you not simply appreciate his greatness and what he’s accomplished for that putrid organization in just 3 years?!?!?!?!

Joe Burrow has turned the Bengals into a contender. He seems to always deliver. He never seems to get perplexed or fazed.

One of my selfishly favorite aspects of his success in the NFL is how he has absolutely shut down the fricktards from 2019 who were certain Burrow wouldn't be able to make those off-script scrambles and consistently clutch throws in the NFL. They swore he'd get killed or picked off trying to play the way he did in college.

Years later, we can probably say Burrow was far and away most responsible for 2019. Far and away.

He was the most important piece, but remember that his two receivers are both dominating their position in the NFL just as much as Joe is dominating his. His offensive line has proven to be loaded with NFL talent. And his running back was a first round draft choice.

The last five games of that season were dominating performances by our defense, which was itself loaded with NFL talent.

There was a remarkable confluence of talent and coaching. Dave Aranda was a brilliant DC, and Ensminger was a playbook short of being a great OC - and Brady brought the playbook.

Eh. Hard to discount Ja'Marr and Justin. Just think how crazy it is.

Who would have thought that blindside hit on Joe in the UCF game would unleash this monster. He is and will always be the GOAT.!!
Joey Connors of UCF is who blind-sided him.

The refs (erroneously) picked up the flag for that hit but enforced the flag on a moron taunting the horizontal Burrow after the play.

CSB. Soon as we won the National Championship, I had a Facebook Message ready to send to UCF's Joey Connors. I started typing it during a timeout just before we sealed the win.

When clock hit 00:00, outside the Superdome, I hit send with this picture and message thanking him...
"Thank you Joey Connors for waking the beast in Joe Burrow. It was at this singular moment in his career that Joe Burrow decided he was not going to lose another game while under center for LSU. You did this. And for that I sincerely thank you. Geaux Tigers!"

It was petty and childish but I was in my feelings and I never forgot how this image resonated with me and thousands of other Tiger Fans.

FWIW he didn't reply.

You are an idiot!!

They made it to the Super Bowl last year and it was a one score game. They are back in the AFC title game this year and those Rams who won the Super Bowl fell off a cliff, and the Bengals look to be even stronger this year.

Re that SB, watching the replay then & recently, if Burrow is not sacked, Chase is open for a game winning / SB winning TD.

Today my thought was that we had an NFL caliber QB WHILE he was playing the 2019 season.

He grew up watching film with a father that was a defensive coordinator at a substantial level of the game.

He’s a coach on the field
His mind calculates coverages and schemes in microseconds,
He plays as tough as LB’er
He has dedication of all the GOATS in sports history
He’s a Natural Leader & AND LIKE I SAID, what separates him from the rest.

HE GREW UP AS A COACHES SON

WATCHING FILM WITH HIS DAD NON-STOP
& COMPETING AGAINST HIS OLDER BROTHERS
