as a starter that is...

JL came in for AH at auburn.. we know how the 3rd and 4th qrts played out. 11/22 182yrds 2 tds and 1 int. in a 26-21 (Win).

next game was Miss State. JL throws for 18/27 for 261 yrds, 2 tds and 1 int. in a 34-24 (Win).

granted JL struggles just began and at times it seemed he was going backwards... however point is some of you people want to crown a true fresh JJ, KING after 6 qrts of of play (losses I might add) and didnt have near the stats in those same 6 quarters of PT....against same level of competiton. 4 SEC teams.

I know there are many topics on this qb situation, and many beleive me to be a JL homer... Im not. Im just not ready to label another untested fresh after a game and a half of PT the "clearly better player"...

Those are facts I posted.. any rebutal any of you may have is STIRCTLY SPECULATION on what you want to believe may or may not happen in future games.. these guys are both young, talented and have tremendous potential to be good qbs here at LSU before they are done.

Only thing I'll say is that JJ brings a different demension to the QB position that makes up for some shortcomings in the passing game. He has the ability to keep the defense honest with his running ability when he isn't hitting his targets. When Lee is hitting a rocky patch, he's basically fricked.

Ole miss and Arkansas are WAY better than Auburn and Miss. St.

Way to be a rantard.

You cannot just look at stats though. JJ is a true freshman who showed much more poise in the pocket than JL, and he can run very well. JJ made some throws in both the Ole Miss and Arkansas game that were catchable and the WRs dropped them. He has MUCH more potential than JL.

Plus, you can't discredit JL's 45 points he gave to opposing teams!

i love how everyone says that JJ's legs can get him out of jams when his throwing isn't on the mark.

What happened in the Ole Miss and Arkansas games when their defense (the 2 worst in the SEC) shut down his running?

We couldn't get a first down.

the pick 6 stuff was a total anomaly.

The facts are neither of the two has taken the reigns. But to this point JL has shown things that JJ hasn't. Admittedly JLee had more time to do those things and I understand that. But aside from a running ability (that I think should be employed similar to RP last year) he just doesn't offer very much RIGHT NOW.

yea since arkansas is such an amazing program

Arkansas at the end of the year is a million times better than Miss State, or Auburn at the beginning of the year. Ole Miss is playing in the cotton bowl.

I don't love him because of the reasons that everyone else loves him (the hatred of J.Lee). I think that he is good because he offers a running threat, is crisp and fairly accurate with his passes, and does a decent job of managing the game.

Do I think he's jesus? No.
Do I think he's better than J Lee? Yes.

It's arguable, but I'm yet to hear a good argument for the sake of JL.

Let see, a true freshman with 6 quarters of playing time vs. a REDSHIRT freshman with a year of the offense under his belt and he continually sucked it up.

Face it, our odds are against us when JL is in the game vs. when JJ is in the game. He gives us the best chance to win.

JJ will prove his worth in the bowl game IMHO.

Les is a retard and went away from what was working in both games. What about when JJ came in at the end of the 2nd against Ole Miss and led us down the field? Do you know why Les/Crowton just went away from that and back to some stupid frick scheme? Me either.

speaking of odds... when JL is playing
(not just starting) our record is 7-4

when JJ is playing (not just starting) our record is 0-2.

hmmmmmmmmmm, see this is why you wouldn't do very well at gambling.

i could give a shite what JL did his first 6 qtrs. what concerns me most is how JL has been playing.

JL last 6 games, 6TD/11INTs

hard to be optimistic with a QB putting up those kind of numbers.

You forgot JL's INT for TD vs AU (if you want to talk about the first 6 quarters)
