Gotta disagree here. From what I've seen so far etling has more pocket presence more poise more accuracy and more guts. I'm not saying lee wasn't talented he had a good arm and was pretty accurate but he didn't hang tough in the pocket and it caused him to force balls into coverage a lot. It's still early and we are not 100% about etling yet but he looks like the real thing and had a game at Purdue where he threw for over 450 that's hard to do. Now lee was 10x better than jj and ppl who don't believe that and defend that bum don't know anything about football.

I'd take JJ over Harris rt now. JJ was tough as nails, he might not have been that good, but he beat bama twice.

Ah yes. The memory of beating the elephants on their home turf. And then the NC down the bayou in our own backyard in NO. JJ was on the field and JL was on the sidelines.

So you know how many first down throws he made that game? I'll answer 1 and it was to a wr he wasn't even trying to throw to. We won the game cause of defense and bama missing fgs it had nothing to do with jj. Lee played a quarter and both ints were pass interference the second one was as bad a miss call as It gets. Of course I can't be certain but if lee was allowed to stay in I'm sure we win going away. Flynn and mauk beat teams throwing 3 picks sometimes. Miles wanted jj in as soon as he could the pics weren't the reason he pulled lee.
