I watched a rerun of last years Mcneese state game .
Mcnese brought every one up to stop the run both qb's were very bad.
Why are we waisting another season on these guys they were so bad. Concentrate on getting Mett ready. He can't be any worse.
If Oregon is smart they will put everyone in the box to stop the run and make Jefferson throw !

This team only lost 2 games and were points away from being undefeated and beating, on the road, the team that actually won the NC.
Sure, if they play the same, chances are we have similar results. But if they improve even in the least, we may be talking NC.

Why didn't you start this thread after the UO game? Time may have made us forget about his woes, but it also could have healed some of his woes. People do develop, ya know? And how can you indefinitely say that a sophomore with 0 experience in the SEC will be better? Man, you should brush up on your football knowledge before you come in here.

This.
Every DC that planned against LSU wanted to stop the run. The offense saw 9 men in the box all year long and they still ran the ball effectively. If JJ, JL, or Mett can come in and give more production at the QB spot it could be one of those years when the tigers end up in NOLA

Jj and lee looked bad in the spring game if they were going to develop it would have happened by know. Mett is bigger stronger and has a better arm then both lee and jj
He's also got more poise in the pocket and IMO is more intelligent then both.
How much worse can we be. We were 112th in passing.
Aub QB had no sec experience !
