Which would be preferred. Jimbo's teams have no defensive stability at FSU vs ACC or Patterson who can coach defense and has improving offense and has half the talent Jimbo has.

Patterson doesn't want to leave TCU.

Jimbo is much more realistic.

My votes are for Kirby Smart or Jimbo Fischer. I think Jimbo would clean house in recruiting and could assemble the defensive personnel necessary to coach us to a better overall defense. Kirby Smart would be hungry and has been learning from the very best in college football I'd give him a shot in a heartbeat.

Of these two, I'd prefer Patterson. I'd be interested to see what he can do with top 5 recruiting classes.

For the record, I don't think we'd get either. They're both set up well

Kirby would be the worst choice possible. Along with being a swarmy little prick he has zero experience outside of being sabans lap dog.

Let him return to Georgia when they finally get rid of richt

I think all of Alabama's coaches are successful at Bama because of Saban. When they are on their own they can't lead. They are puppets of Saban's system.

Don't think either is in play but I'd take Jimbo as my number 1 over anybody.

I don't know why people think Jimbo is an option. He was denied the shot at the head coach spot when Saban left so there could be a chip on his shoulder about that. He has a natty with another Ferrari of a program in Florida. Why does anyone think he wants to leave? I think it would be a lateral move for him.

It's almost always a crap shoot. The Saban tree can give you a McElwain or a Dooley.

Do you realize how much money TAF has at its disposal? Seriously? They have the bucks. These people burn cash for kindling.
