At this point I don't care what the price tag is. If you're going to go big to make this move, you'd better go big in the follow-through.

Here was my original OP, I posted it hours ago in several threads after confirming with my source.
My source told me that the Jimbo deal falling through news is a plot to quiet the media circus (local and national) and that we are 100% well aware of the Sexton/Saban to Texas deal and have made the right moves for Jimbo to come to LSU.
That tactic of spreading misinformation will also find your leaks identities pretty quick.
Was also told that Miles did not go quietly but was not in the position to negotiate the exit but that we have worked outa package for him. Lastly was told that it has been an old festering wound after the 2012 title game and the Arkansas plot for a raise really effectively strained Allevas and the TAFs support for Miles pretty badly.
It also didnt stall, there are laws to be followed due to both coaches have to follow while under contract.
The plot was to keep quiet to avoid a Saban to Texas disaster which ultimately ended up getting Pattersons job in the end at UT. My source is very legit. Alleva neither the boosters wanted egg on their face like Texas after the Saban debacle.

I just want to see LSU be competative in football again. These last few seasons have hurt my heart. I don't expect us to win every game, there will always be some loses, but the way we were embarrassed the last 3 games just stings.

Rabalais is just a leach on the athletic department, looking for any morsel of information for a story, his leak however was not Alleva contrary to everyones belief here

Because I know what was stopping the deal. There's a point....a dollar mark where I just don't know that all this is worth it.
Florida St. was willing to match 5 million a year. And a little more. In addition to the buyout, I'm curious what this will cost.
I'll be 100% Team Jimbo, but this thing better work. And I still don't believe it until I see it. I still think it's a smokescreen.

I honestly can't see LSU firing Miles without being pretty damn confident in hiring another top tier coach.
If it's Jimbo, then great. I'll back that all the way. If it's not someone at that level, and you can probably count them on one hand then I think this will be a pretty damn big wtf five years from now.
