Stronger than what? What in O's past experience suggests he improves a team year to year?

Ditto.

Miles was fired not just because he wasn't winning enough, but because even when his teams DID win it was not in a fashion that made people think our talent was being fully utilized. Worst season at the helm was 8-5...and we were apoplectic the whole time.

Now...12 months later, we're actually talking about whether or not the program is going to go fricking win less in conference and if so, is the newly minted head coach at all to blame?

Folks...if that's not goal post moving then there is no such thing.

You want to give Ed O a chance to rebuild? He can barely wipe his own arse. He's a hack and terrible.

By your reasoning, can you tell me what specifically Nick Saban has done to get Alabama all those wins over the past decade?

List those reasons, re-read them, and understand that O failed to do any of them last night.

We are staring at the head of the worst season in almost 20 years. It is going to be a struggle just to be bowl eligible. Get a grip. This is catastrophic, and no bullshite talent excuses even start to make any sense for how bad we are. A step back and rebuild would be 8-4. We are looking like an at best 4 win team and maybe a win or 2 in conference.

I’ll be happy to.

He didn’t get his team ready to play. He has better athletes than all of the teams we’ve faced so far and each game looks like we’re playing the freaking Patriots when we should’ve been turning those other teams inside out. There has been no improvement (aside from fixing the penalty issues) since game one.

If he has such a difficult time preparing the team for these teams, just wait until he gets week after week of SEC opponents, that’s coming.

He is a bad head coach and the longer he’s at the helm, the worse it gets.

Explain this "reasoning". Give factual examples to back up your narrative. Otherwise you are just talking out of your arse.

Those of us with the opposing view of yours can give you factual reasons why we feel the way we do. Your side can't do that. You all spout off this "rebuilding" nonsense when the actual numbers show there is no reason to consider this a "rebuild". In fact, the idiot coach you all love so much was hired SOLELY ON THE FACT THAT THIS WAS NOT A REBUILD.

You and your coach are failures. Deal with it.

Until we fire Alkeva, we will constantly be behind the right ball. We will lose Wade, sooner rather than later, if he is not canned.

That's obvious. He took a team who has better ranked walk on talent than Troy does on their starting roster and got blown out at home.

We're gonna miss out on 13 bowl practices to actually be able to develop that young talent.

Being unprepared, unable to improve, out of condition, undisciplined, and unable to adjust week after week has nothing to do with being young. It's game five. The team is now experienced enough to show some positive results. It ain't all Miles fault. This team has fallen apart both mentally and physically under the O's watch. We might be pathetic in your self righteous crossed up eyes, but at least we're not nearly as naturally dilusional as you.

So the team was talent filled to the point anyone could coach the team to a championship so Miles needed to be fired.

Recruiting in LA is easy so even if he did a good job of recruiting, anyone can do that in LA.

Now we hear, the talent level is terrible. Miles left the team bereft of talent. All the recruiting ranking say bullshite to this argument but if true...

Who was the head recruiting coordinator for the last 2 seasons? Who was 100% responsible for the last class.

Troy. I'm sorry but we have the Talent to beat Troy. Any number of coaches could have had LSU ready to beat Troy. Troy. Keep telling yourself we don't have the talent to beat Troy. One more time Troy.

The team was out coached. The team was unprepared. Coach O is the same person with the dismal Ole Miss record. He isn't any better than he was a decade ago.

You morons fired a MNC winning coach. A guy who got back to the MNC game for a guy with a horrible record and you gave the risky guy a 12 million dollar buyout.

Reap what you sow.

Nebraska set their team back a decade by firing a 9-3 coach. Hope we don't have the same result.
