Which leads back to the question, why didn't he get more carries throughout the season, Les?

Might have won an extra game or two.

actually, not being used like a marcus lattimore is a selling point to rb's coming to LSU. hill got plenty of carries. as far as winning an extra game or two, which ones? our defense cost us the uga game and mett cost us the ole miss game. i mean, 3 interceptions in the end zone or close because they were thrown into double coverage cost us that game; shut out in first half and comeback came up short.

hindsight is 20/20 but using hill more would not have won us any more games.

I don't know if he actually threw a punch.
He did get so many carries that the almost threw up lunch.

In that game. Not the entire season

Yes, the entire season. He asked out a lot. Which most backs do, everywhere.

he will be in better football shape

This is just silly. He was in great shape, EVERYONE tires, no matter who you are, or your shape, Hill was in fantastic shape.

RB by committee is just BS
And the way we rotated backs was not even close to committee, Hill was the feature back, getting over half the carries. A huge portion.

Didn't know the other RB had a higher ypc. I hope he gets the majority of carries next year.
Someone will be the man, it may not be him.

He's a total thug....but also a bad arse running back. He will be a great NFL running back if he can stay out of trouble.

He also disappeared after a few runs in a few games, never to be seen again. I don't remember which ones, but it did happen.

How can you take your best RB out of a game, then give the ball to the backups, and I'm not talking about the scrub teams they played.

Have to do some work. Be back soon.

when the best RB is tired, he is no longer the best RB.

Because a guy like Magee had an insane ypc this year and played better than Hill in a couple games. Hill is still the best back, but sometimes he needs a break, and sometimes another guy is more effective.

True, but I guess I'm just too old. I'm used to teams that would use and sometimes abuse their best RB to win.

I do agree our D wasn't good enough to win it all this year.
