We would have won every game had Jeremy Hill got the ball on every defensive possession. I don't need some moron to tell me that.

I think he was upset because an Iowa player was pulling his facemask on a gang tackle...they showed him grabbing towards his facemask complaining to the ref after the play

on a play where it took the refs forever to blow the whistle even though they were big on "forward progress was stopped."

With more carries maybe Hill scores more, or the team. Then LSU has more points on the board. In football the team with the most points wins 100% of the time.

All I'm saying is if they would have fed Hill more the team could have won more games.

and when you keep running the same play or plays , what happens ?? The D never changes or do they adjust ? What we needed went pro, and left LSU with a 2nd team D , hope they stay this season . Hill needs to go

Maybe he should have played defense too?

Hey, that makes no sense.

If you can't understand my point, I feel sorry for you.

It wouldn't have hurt, that's for sure.

A lot happens in the heat of battle, not all is observed by the refs, players or spectators.

Hill did use a great stiff arm on a play and probably saved his best game for last if he turns pro.

Save the pity for yourself. Football knowledge (or even common sense) isn't everything and I won't hold your dumb comment against you.

Didn't he average around 25 carries a game? If you give him more carries you lose your balance attack. And if you stop giving carries to other backs you lose hill's fresh legs.

I would have been pissed as well. The Refs call forward progress stopped after the Iowa RB fumbles the ball but they continue to let Iowa pile on and grab at Hill long after he was stopped and pushing him back 10 fricking yards before they blow the whistle.

Or more points.

I like your style.

Hill got more carries than Yeldon this year. And Hill and McGee got more carries than Yeldon and Drake. Yet everyone acts like we don't feed our top backs and Saban wears his backs out.

fricking this.

The sideline penalty, no call of the fumble by Iowa, and then letting them grab at our backs with late whistles on O really had my blood pressure up in the game.

Absolutely.

Still he should have had more carries in total.

Hill generally stayed in the game until he asked to come out. He did it twice yesterday that was on TV, could have been more.

Human performance does not allow unlimited output, the man needed a break quite a bit.

How can you say that when his replacement, his fresh replacement, had a higher per carry average? Looks like the fresh back theory was pretty damn effective.

Doesn't matter, we should have done our best to wear down our best runner.

In that game. Not the entire season. If he gets more carries over the season, he will be in better football shape. The RB by committee is just BS when you have someone like Hill on your team.

Didn't know the other RB had a higher ypc. I hope he gets the majority of carries next year.
