This wouldn't normally be a season-ending altercation for a player, but since Hill was already on probation and may have violated it, I'm leaning more on the pessimistic outcome rather than the optimistic. I truly do hope he puts on a Tigers jersey sometime this year, though.

The Advocate is reporting ADA Sue Bernie will file a motion this week to have the probation of #LSU RB Jeremy Hill revoked.
I didn't see any reference in the link that the DA's office had filed a motion to revoke? If true it means he is going to jail if the judge accepts it. Revoke doesn't mean his probation is lifted, it means he will serve his two year sentence. That's what probation is - a second chance. If you screw up your second chance enough for them to revoke the probation then you do the time. So why this is good news is beyond me.

filing the motion for revocation is pretty standard procedure

it'll never happen though

This is not good news. Word is that jail time is a real possibility. Hope Hillard and Blue have a great year - we need them to step up.

Nephew was in her class but that's besides the point. High schoolers suck dick everyday. It happens. That doesn't make Hill a POS.

why do people think he is getting suspended for a game or two? I never expected him to miss any game at all.. He just punched someone in the face...

I wouldn't lose my shite if he had to sit for the opener. We beat TCU with or without him, anyway. The kid seriously needs to be taught a lesson, even of he "just" punched someone in the face. I really don't want him to become a head case...

Could depend on the exact terms of his probation

Without knowing more I'd say he's not out of the woods yet

there is no doubt he violated his probation but if they revoke it for simple battery then somethings seriously wrong

Think the DA is taking this a little far for misdemeanor battery between two college kids by trying to revoke probation. Although Hill was technically wrong for hitting the guy(although provoked), dont believe he is a true criminal that needs to sit in jail.
