It is nice that we have Heisman caliber guys at QB and RB for once

Mett is not a Heisman contender. Lets slow the roll there. He had one good game. He played FANTASTIC. I think the light came on. As a player, once you figure it out, you've got it. I think that Mett figured it out against the best defense in the country.

However, I don't think that Mett is a Heisman contender at this point.

If Mett plays lights out every game no chance. If not, Hill is definitely a contender. It is nice that we have Heisman caliber guys at QB and RB for once. I wish it was next season already.

Haha I'm ready to DESTROY the poor bastards in front of us after Saturday night. These guys got a taste of what they are capable of when both sides play well. I sure hope they play lights out through 2012 and whether we go to Dallas or eek into a Sugar bowl, dominate and prepare for next season's tougher schedule with a much tougher group of guys experience-wise.

Hill only has to stay ONE MORE year. You have to be three years out of high school. Not three years in college.

Eh it just really depends on a lot of factors. I feel like people were saying this about ware after the cotton bowl, and Hilliard after Auburn last year.

eek into a Sugar bowl,

I really hope this happens. This would make a pretty good season. Add a Bama loss to that even better.

I honestly hope next season Bama is even better and undefeated. I even hope they get a rematch again. I just want to kill their hopes and dreams twice in one year. I believe this team next year can make that happen.

Given that the kid is a true freshman and has to stick around for 2 more FULL seasons, what do you think the odds of him reeling in a Heisman by the end of his junior year are?

Nope. Hill will be draft eligible after next season. He will be 3 years removed from high school, which is what matters in the draft. Not saying he will go, but he will be eligible. We may only have one more season of Hill. Dude is beast mode.

He'll never get the carries. There will always be someone else to split carries with, and he'll never put the numbers up he needs.

I thought Kenny Hilliard was our next Heisman winner, or at least that's what the Rant said earlier this year.

Hill will be gone after his sophomore year... You have to be three years removed from High school to enter the draft and he sat out last year... He would be a 23 yr old junior
