Brees has great mobility compared to Mett.

yeah that is not really ever accurate or else every college skill player would be a 4.4 guy...

All good though, it won't hurt him.

I've stood next to the kid and I am easily taller than him. I'm 6'2".

I'm not knocking the guy, those HS and team measurements are always bogus.

ETA:

He's easily taller than Brees though

Do you honestly think that Rivers would read this message board and then base a decision on what to do with his football career based on what the fricking retards here think??

We already know that some players read this board, and sometimes a decision is so balanced in someone's mind that a stray factor decides it. Hell, I got a job with a major defense contractor because (at that time) I had pet monitor lizard. So yes, the "fricking retards" on here could be the deciding factor. Most likely it won't, but what exactly do we lose by including "...but I hope he stays" in some of these posts?

His height was measured at several camps, including elite 11, and by the LSU staff.

Last year they passed on a QB recruit because he was 5'11

Jennings is closer to 6'1, maybe even 6'2.

He's got 2-3 inches on Les Miles

I will say he's 6'. I can't imagine this kid barefoot being any taller than that.

Where are Les Miles old man measurements?

speaking of our obsession with QB height, if Rivers is really a legit 6'8", he'd be the tallest QB I can think of at this level.

I think the tallest besides him was Dan McGwire (Mark's brother) who played at SDSU(?) and then the Seahawks for a little while. He was something like 6'7".

Wasn't a guy this year 6'8" at the draft?

OSU's QB maybe?

ETA:

Osweiler from ASU was 6'7"

He was 6'1 in college. So maybe 2 inches lost since then. Makes him around 5'11. Plus Jennings is slightly tilting his head sideways. Takes off close to an inch. From that picture Jennings looks closer to 6'2 than 6'1.
