Already hired. On campus recruiting top olinemen for this class and next. I believe he has us working towards Damian prince. Great addition for his oline recruiting.

Grimes was at BYU, not a National powerhouse, left there, hired at Auburn, fired when Malzahn was hired, and if anyone looks at the Offensive production numbers at Auburn in his term there wouldn't question why, and now it is THIS GUY that may have been hired.

Grimes was hired in 2009, wasn't he. So it is not like he recruited any of the 2010 O Line, particularly BECAUSE that line had 5 Seniors and 3 Juniors who returned for the NC season.
Check the stats after Cam Newton, and the Seniors left, not pretty for 2011, and 2012 when he was fired.

Cam Cameron was hired in 2013, wasn't he? So it is not like he recruited Zach Mettenberger, Jeremy Hill, OBJ or Landry particularly BECAUSE they were Seniors and Juniors who returned for this season.
So he probably had no immediate impact on their production, right?

Wasn't he also the guy who pulled Robinson and Patrick miller from us? He's a solid recruiter and everyone knows les also coaches the oline. Great pick up. He brings em in and les coaches em up. Trust me this is what we needed to get bck to a title game (and more lb coaching)

Exactly, normally the HC is limited in contact with recruits per NCAA rules. When a staff member leaves the HC is allowed to fill his spot. They are just taking advantage of the rule while they can. They do it everytime there is a staff change. Expect Grimes to be made official at the bash.
