It can be, JD is not a very good QB and even worse with our OL. If you don't get good play from the OL then you won't get good play from any of our QB's.

LSU has nothing to lose and everything to gain by playing either Nuss or Howard. One or both are going to be gone at the end of the season if they don't play. They cannot improve standing on the sidelines.
They may screw up, but so be it. Are we saying that JD doesn't? If JD is our only QB this year, then he will be our QB next year, Nuss and or Howard will be gone, and our next QB in 2024 will be a freshman or RS freshman or a transfer that couldn't start somewhere else. This really isn't a tough decision unless BK thinks we are going to win the SEC with JD. And that is delusional.

Daniels isn't getting benched unless he's hurt. Kelly for some reason is very stubborn with Daniels and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Yeah - Against all my pessimism I actually bought into that idea - I could not see it myself, but I thought Kelly may be the long awaited "real deal" in making these kind of decisions. The Rant seemed to be practically jubilant about Daniels too. So, I shelved my pessimism and looked forward to the Tennessee game.
We had the ball for 2 snaps before that all vanished, and as the game went on - and on - and on - - - it kept getting worse.
I'm done with optimism until we get a new qb - '"wait'l next year'"
