Passer Rating #1

Yards Per Attempt #1

Passing Yards #3 (6 yards behind Michael Penix)

QB Rushing Yards #1 (#38 overall and the only power 5 QB in top 100 for rushing yards in country regardless of position)

Total Yards #1 (500 more than #2 and 750 more than #3)

Passing TD #2

Total TD #2

If he isn't statistically the frontrunner for the heisman idk what to tell you...

LSU fans don’t like “Individual Awards.”

Him and Penix are basically 1 & 2 at every statistic. Until Penix loses or plays bad in a big game, he is going to be the favorite. But if JD continues to put up these numbers he’ll get invited to New York.

LMAO ….

It’s awarded by a vote of sports reporters. Stats is only ONE of SEVERAL things the voters will consider.

So ….. let’s all calm down, focus on beating Bama first, then Georgia, before we start counting up Heisman votes.

Pennix has played 1 less game. Jayden has been incredible but Washington being undefeated still has Pennix as the front runner

Jayden has a higher passer rating, higher YPA, 20% more total yards and more passing and total touchdowns than penix. The ONLY metric penix leads jayden in is passing yards, by 6 yards.

Don’t let others enthusiasm get in the way of your misery.

Penix playing one less game than Jayden probably has something to do with that…

WHATS YOUR POINT? Penix would need 500 yards of total offense and 6 TDs during LSUs bye week for him tp catch up to Jayden. Jayden still has a higher passer rating and YPA than penix. Jayden also has done that against the #3 strength of schedule vs Washington's #14 SOS.

Doesn’t affect stats like yards per attempt, completion percentage that Jayden leads in

It was pretty clear. Pennix is your heisman at this point. Their stats are a wash

No shite? Y’all splitting hairs. The tie breaker is we have 2 losses and they have zero. They drop a game, we win out…Jayden probably takes it

You’re right, but they aren’t going to give Jayden the Heisman because he has a 73% completion rate and Penix has a 72% completion rate. The point is they are neck and neck stats wise and they are going to side with the guy that has won all of his games

You're right, of course. Too bad, too, because the Pac 12 is still garbage and, as always, will be exposed in the playoff. Daniels plays against way more NFL caliber players than Penix week in and week out. It's not close.

In every year for the last 20 years…but if there’s a year the SEC gets their arse handed to them, it’s this year. Nothing special about anybody in the SEC this year. Your point about the talent still stands though. It’s just the teams aren’t great. Even UGA

Overall the PAC 12 is pretty much equal to the SEC this year, if not better.
