Jayden for heisman 2023

Pretty sure you have to be able to throw downfield to attain that.

I mean if that's what they want to do fine. I want both to stay nothing is guaranteed. Anything can happen hell we saw Myles got hurt. I wish they both stay until after spring ball. Praying all the QBs stay.

Hoping that Kelly gives both Nuss and Howard a fair shot to dethrone the king. If as I suspect, the starting position is already Daniels, then which QB will transfer?

So many of yall are begging players to transfer when they don't play right away or when YOU think they should, I dont get it.

That, or said player is a quitter. You can never win with some of the Tiger fans.

We beat Bama and go to the SEC championship game after O left team in shambles and you people bitch about our starting QB returning. Pathetic!

Burrow had never started a game before his first year here. Daniels had 3 seasons of starting. Daniels may improve but most likely it won’t be as exponential as Burrows. We also opened up the offense in Burrow’s second year.

Daniels is really making a gamble considering how deep the QB room is for the next draft.

Nothing I’ve seen from BK makes me think that, daniels had some poor games and he stuck with him

He is absolutely not a guy to change QBs at LSU. I like when Saban went with Tua over Hurts during a championship game. I don’t see Kelly ever doing that. JD is his guy.

Somehow I am surprised he is returning given the QB class this year is weak.

Not really. He just needs to keep progressing. As long as he develops more there even if it's not a big step forward we'll be improved.

Anyone believes theres a fair QB competition doesn't know football. CBK is in love with JD5.

Have you spoken to Brian Kelly how much he loves JD? You must have heard it from his mouth to be so confident.

I've heard BK talk about how much he wants to win a natty. He will have a QB competition if it gets him closer to a natty.

No shite. Any of our QB options would need to improve from what they showed in 2002 to win an SEC championship

Working with receivers more in the off-season will definitely help with timing, familiarity, all that, but he has to trust receivers to take 50/50 balls if we're going to win tougher games. He hasn't shown enough of that yet, but I'm willing to write that off on being green with pass catchers in 2022.

I hope he can make that leap. This team is set up to have an excellent offense in 2023. It just needs a QB that can elevate it.

This board is obsessed with the boom from Nuss but ignore the bust part of him which he's a turnover machine. Go look at his stats. They're not that impressive in limited opportunities. He has more turnovers than he does TDs. That negative absolutely outweighs his positives so it's easy to see why BK does not start him. 1 of those TOs in Arkansas loses you the game. How many games this year would we lose with him turning it over?
