Jay lost this game not intentionally walking Evans in the top of the 9th

The coaches are scared of Caglianone but Evans is the one that has killed us. You walk him to get lefty on lefty and this game is over in the 9th.

Jay absolutely lost this game. Ack couldn’t locate a single pitch for 3 innings so Jay leaves him in to face the heart of their lineup.

Na we dont lose a dropped 3rd strike in 8th and a leadoff walk in the 9th, lsu wins 4-2 but thats baseball right?

Because he did exactly what you didn’t want by letting him hit and knowing how he’s hit against LSU for 3 years should have been a little hint. The matchup in that situation is lefty on lefty.

This is just a stupid rule that I’ve never understood anyway. Just seems like a made up rule by little leaguers 100 years ago.
