Although he may have not been the best coach, I still enjoyed Javi, I feel like he brought some emotion to the team. My favorite moment was when he slammed his hat on the ground and absolutely let the umpire have it at the LSU-UC Irvine super regional when he made a bad call on the hidden ball trick. Anybody else?

In all seriousness, I did enjoy when he let the umpire have it.

The best moment was when we all realized how to spell his name properly.

And to the poster who hates our fans, I agree. We shite on our own here better than any group of fans I have ever seen in any sport or for any school. The guy busted his arse here for a number of years, and whether you want to believe it or not, he was a big part in the success that we have had.

When he escaped from the idiotic lynch mob that dominates the Rant.
Good luck Javi, I appreciate your effort and dedication. Where ever you end up it will be a better place.

Some people just aren't happy unless they're whining about something. See pretty much any construction update thread.

All you have to do is look at the players' responses on Twitter to know what kind of guy he was.

Javi Sanchez is one of the greatest people I've ever met. He will be missed in baseball, but an asset wherever he goes. #TheMan #LSUBaseball

Yeah, whining about the stadium is one thing. But, whether people believe it or not, openly and joyously celebrating and praising God that a huge piece of our recent success is leaving the program and baseball all together just shines a shitty light on our program and fan base. It's OK to point out that a change may have been needed and that he had some limitations, but the way Javi has been demonized and shat upon for the last 5-6 years is borderline sickening. He's a human being with a dreams and aspirations and a family and has sacrificed so much for LSU baseball.

Oh well. Best of luck, Javi, and thank you for your service.

Coaches and players do read this board. Even for the ones who don't, the criticism here doesn't just stay on the Rant. When you post something, it can spread everywhere, and a lot of people tend to forget that.
