Jennings is exactly like Lee in 2008. People forget how happy we were to see freshman Jefferson come in late in the season when Lee kept throwing pick 6s. Glad we see a change earlier this year but it's gonna be a tough road the rest of the way. We should have prepared the best QB all of Sept. Instead we made Jennings show us he wasn't ready to do it and now Harris is thrown in there with essentially 1 game played. Harris should have gotten more reps. But Miles had to go with Jennings knowing he couldn't open anything up and just wanted to hide our weaknesses.

i like JL as much as the next guy....he's a great person. but these numbers arent that great. he was mediocre...unfortunately so was the other QB on the team.

don't even get me started on that. JJ went 7 straight 3 and outs in atlanta. Lee shoulda been in that game in the first or second quarter. at least by 2nd quarter on 1-9 against Bama.

I don't see why people are directly comparing the JJ/JL thing to the Jennings/Harris deal now.

Jennings and JL aren't even remotely the same kind of QBs.

I will say that I actually think Harris throws a prettier pass than JL, though.

But ... hey ... why give this guy a shot when we are getting our asses destroyed and JJ can't get us past the 50 and is shovel-passing the ball to the other team?

That 08 offense was actually pretty solid, the interceptions sucked but LSU put up a lot of points that year. The defense was a weakness on that team. Also, I don't remember Les complaining about people booing Lee that year. Not saying he didn't but I don't remember it.

Yeah ... sorry. I still get pissed just thinking about it, too.

JL was all class, and IMO, CLM treated him like a used diaper.

If I'm not mistaken ...didn't he send in JL into the game on the last fricking series on 1/9 just to take a knee and such? WTF!

fact is, JJ always played better when he had the heat behind him in lee. There was no reason to not keep playing both QB's. NONE.

when the pressure was off JJ 's play went sour. most times.

We had to throw the ball a lot to keep us in games and try and put up points to keep up since our defense was so damn bad that year.

Lee is a great tiger. One of my favorite LSU QB's...and mostly for stuff off the field...the way he carried himself through all that crap.

Former players on the radio - bad radio

Jamie Howard and S Wilson were on this morning
Good insights and good perspective from two players that saw the highs and the lows - the further away you get from your playing career the better perspective you will have of it.

Fans could do the same - as dreadful as some of the early 90's were I still went to games and if nothing else I got to see great SEC players even from LSU
