Two great things that come from Brenham, Texas?

Blue Bell Ice Cream and Jarrett Lee since he will bring a National Championship for the LSU Tigers!

Sounds like a bunch of douches in that tournament

You really need to put down your laptop and go out in the real world and talk to some LSU fans outside of Tigerdroppings.com.

You might be disappointed at the number of "douches" that are out there. I have yet to talk to anybody that supports JJ, especially after the fight. And I know a bunch of people that fit all across a cross section of life, from redneck in a trailer to wealthy living in CCLA.

But given the circumstances I have no issue with handing the team to Lee at this point.

What circumstances? Did JJ's ability to play football become compromised due to a curfew problem and fight? We can debate all day long about whether he's the guy that can bring this team a title based on his past performances, but posters acting like this incident signifies anything are just being totally naive and gay.

You haven't talked to me then. And making broad generalizations based on some random dude approaching strangers at LSU games and asking them about the quarterback position is exactly what I would expect from people on this board.

you seriously believe this?

It signifies a couple things.
It signifies lack of maturity, focus, leadership, decsion making, committment. Hell is this really even necessary?
YOu arent this "naive" or "gay".

On the football field? How? Because he made a stupid decision at the bar one night? So now he is unable to show "leadership" on the football field with his teammates? You can't be this fricking stupid can you?

Geeeeeeeeees.
You are right a persons character off the field is in no way indicative of the character they have on the field.

You have made a lot of assumptions about a persons character based off of what the loser of the fight told his friends. Just saying.

I'm not the guy with the pitchfork standing atop some moral pedestal. You know what you've read. And you think that gives you the pulpit to throw kids in college under the bus because they made a stupid decision. Basically, you're a douche.

He may not be able to show leadership on the field if he isn't even on the team. If you don't think that is within the realm of possibility at this point then you need to get your head out of the sand. The game is in two weeks, game planning has already started or will be starting within days. Jefferson's status at this point is "questionable" to say the least. How do you proceed? Giving all the reps to someone in the middle of the investigation who could be suspended (or worse) by that time, or preparing with someone you know will be on the team come game time?

All these people acting all moral and leadership superiority over JJ need to take a step back and think about whether a leader would condemn someone over one side of the story.

Trust me I discuss LSU football more IRL than on a computer. I would say the majority of people I have talked to have a wait and see attitude rather than a mob mentality in this situation. What I do find disheartening is how some want to only apply the most serious discipline to JJ b/c they are concerned if all involved get kicked off it will hurt our season.

I am well aware of how many douches are out there.

Basically, youre a fricking tard, that would most prob still make excuses for this situation/players, even if/when charges are brought.

See how that goes?

Oh so now we're posting based upon pure speculation? Next time, tip me off that JJ is no longer on the team when I choose to post about his leadership on the team.

What does this have to do with anything? "How do [I] proceed?" I sit back and let the coaches find out the information and make the call, because it's their job. Unlike the stupid fricks on this board that want to be the judge and jury for college kids making stupid decisions. Should they be reprimanded, yes. Are posters acting like idiots, yes.
