What does that mean?
It means Lee played better in all the spring practices leading up to the spring game. I heard this also.

i'll know more about the 2 once my roommate can start practicing again

wow i didnt realize that hatch was that quick. he seems to have a decent arm too. lee looks like he has some definite promise too. yeah i think the qb situation will be allright.

i do agree with the one poster who said that he's worried about our cornerbacks, yeah those were some really nice passes and catches, but is it more of the that, or bad defense? idn. i think that will be fine by the time the season starts also.

btw this is a much better thread then the "next season is going to rule" thread

Nice videos, and the guys did look good. Hope springs eternal, especially in the offseason.

But the fact that almost all of the highlights entailed green jerseys, and there were so few highlights that most had to be replayed in slow motion to lengthen the "highlight video," just spotlights how little experience we'll have at this position.

It will be interesting, for sure.

I could be wrong, but didn't it look like some of the deep throws from Hatch looked a little underthrown? Lee looked like he was throwing the deep ball perfectly.

Hatch in the pistol formation is an impossibly hard formation to defend.

Maybe I'm a glass half-empty kinda guy, but those highlights make worry about our cornerbacks...especially the long throw to Byrd where he juked everyone out. But I guess Demetrius is just that good

I'm kinda there with you, esp. that throw and catch in double coverage.

Great footage on Lee,glad to see some of the nay sayers can watch the next Colt McCoy.

Lee was a 4-star recruit in a talent rich state,ESPN recruiting called him on the best in the nation in his class and said he has zip on his balls.

That youtube video showed how accurate he is and he throws one damn pretty ball after another, all spirals.

And why do a lot of people on here say we need a smart qb that can protect the ball, this isn't soccer people.

Herm Edwards said it"you play to win the game" and we need a qb to make all the throws and help us score,Lee is the guy.Maybe even Hatch too. Both are good

Lee will be the starting qb once fall ball rolls around.

I like Hatch to start with Lee getting a few series here and there. I'm not Les Miles.....at some point one will get banged up and the other one will have to play.

From the mouth of D. Byrd, Lee is the better passer and Hatch is the better runner.

from the videos, I'd have to go with Hatch. I hate to leave my boy from Texas out but he looks to have a ground game edge over Lee...

Hatch is probably going to start. I think he's got a leg up on Lee. He's got the speed, he's got the brains. What's not to like? I mean, I don't expect to go undefeated or anything but I think LSU is above average at QB in the SEC.

I think it's the most reasonable choice at this point, but youd be crazy to think that Lee won't be play a lot this year.

I know its an unfair comparison, but something about Hatch is very Farve esk.

I didn't really see anything from Lee that made me think he should be the undespited starter.

If anything, thoose vids show how weak our secondary is. No offense fellars.
