I have not seen or heard much about Jared Mitchell lately. Anyone know why he has not played much or perhaps he has played but was not thrown to so.

I don't know why they don't use him on that screen pass that never works.

Mitchell is gone though after baseball season - he will be a top 10 round selection in the draft!

He might make a great play. One of the last times i remember him playing was when he caught a couple screen passes against Auburn on the game winning drive

He must have given up practicing hard in practice, He used to alternate with C. Mitchell/Tolliver. We see more C. Mitchell now. Maybe he may reemerge next year if he is here, But C. tolliver, Laron Byrd, D. Peterson, R. Randle, D. Benton will all be back vying for time. What is up with R. Dixon?

JM's future is baseball. He's an animal on the diamond- There's a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow...the football rainbow...not so much

He's dangerous on the screen pass. Unfortately we haven't been able to trust Lee to get the ball out there on any consistent basis.

If he improves at the plate, hitting was not at the top of his attribute list last season.

Actually, Jared was the one receiver we had that successfully ran the screen early in the year several times. He has better open field moves than the other guys. Another mystery...

He was passed on the depth chart by Toliver and Chris Mitchell. We haven't been up enough to let some of the other recievers play. Usually our top 4 are the main ones. I think Dixon may have passed him too. I've seen him more than Mitchell.

He's still a sophmore isn't he? He has great hands so I expect he will get some playing time by his senior year. That could change if Randle, Benton, and Dubose choose to come to LSU.

Well seeing that his future is in baseball, he probably doesn't want to get on the field with a QB that constantly throws balls behind you or too high. Perfect formula for an injury to a wide receiver. J/K

Miles has not been fair with JMitch. JMitch has been practing his tale off but does not get any vibe from Miles. I think it is a shame to treat a young player that way. This is bad for Miles. He will regret it later on. JMitch wants to be on the field as much as any other player out there and it shows at pratice. Miles has an angenda whatever that is and he is sticking with it. Hold your head up JMitch there are people in the world that will treat you good and give you the respect that you deserve.

He was actually fairly underrated at the plate towards the end of the year.
