I blame Defensive recruiting and offensive youth.

Harris was rattled and the O-Line shite the bed. Pretty sure we only have 1 senior on offense in Vadal.

LSU is stuck with a John Chavis built defense this year. It's a damn shame that he didn't care to recruit defensive linemen or line backers the past few years.

Well, Chavis and Brick left us with a really thin front 7, and Kiffin exploited that.

Saban does sign more LBs and DLs than we do and it shows.

he’s dead on with the defense. But until there’s a change in offensive philosophy recruiting great defensive players won’t matter much. The offense needs improvement in the philosophy, duh. it’s stupid for the offense of LSU to go strength to strength against Alabama when the only teams that have beat them are the teams with open/spread type offenses and throwing the damn ball. Handing the ball up the gut doesn’t work? Ask Oklahoma in the Sugar? Oklahoma could no way beats Bama except through the air. How could Ole Miss score 40 points on Bama? Stupid, stupid, stupid ...

yeah, but how about the running game? That's our identity and we have certainly recruited well to cover that part of our game and that is the main reason we lost.

You can't have a running game without an OL & our problems there go back to Studrawa. Guard is the most critical piece of the running game and we are starting a true feshman, redshirt freshman & their primary backup is a true freshman. Bama ate those guys lunch Saturday night. Want to beat Bama with the power run game? Your have to recruit an o-line & blocking tight ends as good or better than Bama's front 7. Any weakness in that area and Saban will find it, exploit it and neutralize it.

Recruiting matters no doubt, but game plan can overcome where they are more stronger
