Great time. For the people thinking this is slow do some research.

For comparison:

Cam Chancellor: 4.69
Ed Reed: 4.57
Richard Sherman: 4.56
Jaja Clinton-Dicks: 4.57

4.5 is fast i don't know why the standard for speed is a 4.3

I ran a hand timed 4.5 in high school. Probably a 4.6 laser, and I was the 2nd fastest at a 5A school. 4.3-4.4 is freakish. 4.5 is plenty fast for a safety, especially at his size.

PSA- all these kids in high school that run 4.3 & 4.4,probably run closer to 4.6. Think about how fast Trindon was and he was a high 4.2 guy. It looks drastically different.

Falls in love with workouts

Adams was a very good Safety in a very good league.

40 times in tights < film in pads.

All safeties are asked to do multiple things now days. Saying a guy who can do everything is a disadvantage is just ignorant. Adams will be fine Peppers will also be good I don't know why ppl get so riled up just because a player from another school is just as good or better than one of ours. Adams will be a star and Peppers career will have nothing to do with it. Who cares which player is drafted first what counts is what you do once you're on the field.

His short area explosiveness allows teams to use him at nickel and his football IQ allows teams to use him at deep safety. He's a guy that instantly makes any team in the league better.

Why does our fan base hate on our players so much? It is mind-boggling.

It's just an attempt to over analyze everything to prove they are better than draft analysts

He'll still be a top 5 pick. The 40 time is right in line of what everyone expected. It's a good time for a safety. He looked awesome in the hip flex drills. He benched a lot more than most DBs, proved what everyone knew. He has elite flexibility, strength, play recognition, recovery, tackling, awareness and ball skills. He had above average speed and quickness for his position.

Top 5 pick.
