Just saw a tweet from a dude named Matt Zenitz saying Jalen Cook is transferring. Is this true? I could not find any verification.

damn, he can play, was looking forward to seeing him develop here over the next year or two. Kind of odd considering we are losing our starting guard and he would most likely be the guy next year.

I felt like he was gonna get some serious playing time next year. I hate all this transferring stuff nowadays.

The guy for what? Pinson is clearly better than him and Gaines showed way more flashes.
Cook had a good game against a horrible Vanderbilt squad and people are obsessed with him. The guy was ALWAYS going to be a 4-year role player. He clearly wants to start and promise playing time, but LSU is trying to win

You are an idiot. Gaines can score. If you didn't notice, we had 3 GREAT scorers of the basketball and Days was our fourth option. Did you want Gaines to come in and put up 10 shots?

I hate to see him go, but when Gaines took over the backup PG spot this year the writing was on the wall. Gaines and Cook were not going to be on the court at the same time. Once Pinson was added to the mix, it was clear he wasn’t going to see the court that much more this year.
He’s a good player, works hard on defense. Just doesn’t seem to be a great fit in this system. Wish him the best where he lands.

Hilarious take. Cook played against scrub teams and can't even get into the lane because of his size. There's a reason Gaines was a much higher prospect
