So is Blake Baker coaching the linebackers?
I think that is a fair assumption

would be awkward if it's not official by LSU

of course. He's going to be the coach. But LSU Football announces the hires "officially" by twitter and/or a press confernce. Like this -> Bo Davis hired
I am sure there is some reason they haven't announced all the moves yet. My guess is it could be related to the fact that they haven't done anything with Diaco and Jancek yet.

I like the fact that he coached at ULM and Northwestern, and served as a recruiting coordinator. He knows the lay of the land there, so he can recruit that area and probably still has connections with high school coaches.

Maybe we can get Kellen Winslow as TE coach.

not sure if that's a very weak joke/troll or you actually don't know KW's situation?

Ex-NFL tight end Kellen Winslow II was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2021 but is trying to use California justice reform laws to get out earlier.

Former NFL star Kellen Winslow II has submitted a handwritten petition from prison that argues the physical trauma he suffered during his football career entitles him to a reduced prison sentence under a new California law that went into effect in 2022, according to court records obtained by USA TODAY Sports.

Winslow, 39, was sentenced to 14 years behind bars in 2021 after being convicted of sex crimes against five women in San Diego County, including the rape of a homeless woman in 2018 and rape of a woman who was unconscious in 2003.

He mailed his habeas corpus petition in November from the state prison where he is currently incarcerated in Tehachapi, California. It’s unclear where it will go next or if it has much of a chance with Winslow representing himself without an attorney.

Seems to me we need a fulltime ST coach. We were abysmal last year, all these star athletes and we fair catch every single punt. Granted that helped our offensive statistics, but we might need a bit more help from elsewhere next year.

Now all we need are some Safeties for him to coach.
