caller on finebaum - they believe they can win. not just believe, they are excited about the opportunity to play LSU and get a chance at a victory vs a SEC school.
just gives me a warm feeling down to my toes.
we only need to complete 5 more passes and run for a couple of touchdowns. apparently they didn't get the memo.

Well at least one team will be well coached and come to play this saturday. Doesn't mean they will win though.

I know it seems dumb to say, but if we just block and tackle better - okay a lot better - than last week, we;ll be okay. Can Les get them to do that? I have no idea.

As they should be.
Wisconsin not only gave every team the blueprint to beat us (which isn't hard to figure out), but they also showed that we can lose to teams that aren't nearly as talented as we are. And that gives those lesser talented teams loads of confidence, which goes a long way in college football.

At least block better. If the Oline gets a good push, Fournette runs wild. Harris isn't constantly being pressured or sacked or worried about getting laid out on his blind side. His passes are more accurate.
The offense works. Better at least.
They looked terrible though.
Miles should go just on the inability of the Oline - since that is supposedly his specialty. There's way too much talent on that line for them to be virtually ineffective.

We have average under 17 pts on offense and not scored 20 points in last 5 regular season. If they can score 20 points they can win

We;re always excited about playing a FBS school at JSU. We have a lot of players that were told they were too small or too slow to play at that level, so they always have a little attitude about it. We know the odds are stacked against us. LSU is one of the great big school football programs in the nation. We’re just a small school team from Alabama that most folks have never heard of. We shouldn’t beat LSU, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t.
As you are watching our team (and band) though, I want you to remember that we have less than 9,000 students, only 64 players on scholarship, and our head coach makes about $200K per year. We’re happy to get the game check that LSU will provide and will try our best to give you a competitive game. Looking forward to it.
