I've seen plenty of QB's come off the bench and have a great first game

and never be heard form again. Etling looked good in comparison to Harris, but he didn't set the world on fire and I'm not ready to anoint him yet. I will say the team seemed to play harder on both sides of the ball when he was in, so maybe he has some leadership intangibles.
He also said Harris was supportive and helpful, so let's drop the BS about him sulking.

Etling is just a good person to interview and says all the righ things like they are taught. Harris looked pretty unhappy and had a "not give a shite" look after he got pulled

What exactly gets under people's skin so much about being excited about a player that played well that makes them have to flock to a message board to tell people to not get excited?
I've seen so many posts telling us not to get excited.

I'm still do underwhelmed
We still struggle to put up 30 on this team at home and only 1 passing td in the entire game.. None to a receiver. And only one td in the entire second half.

Did you watch the fricking game? My God, I feel sorry for people like you. Etling played his first game in Tiger Stadium and he did a great job, IMO. I don't think the stats accurately show how well he did.

Eitling made mistakes, but still carried the team.

Harris looked best out of the I. Watch the games. No disputing it.
Eitling, 3 wide shotgun, made bad plays, then came back and made plays.
He is the qb going forward if Les wants to save his job.

I went to the game, haven't watched replay yet.
Scheme isn't the problem, and never has been.

I'll be happy if Etling comes out and throws for a buck fifty and two TD's next week with no turnovers. I'm just saying let's wait and see that's all.

As a fan, take notice of the perimeter.
Teams struggle. A lot of teams struggle.
Wake up, LSU isnt the end all b all.
Louisiana has had less players drafted than Alabama, Mississippi, and Illinois, In the past drafts.
LSU doesn't have 5 first round draft picks. LSU doesn't have more talent than everyone else.

You think? We run the type of Offense that is designed for a pocket passer. We continue to get 5 star receivers and continue to recruit/sign dual threat QB's. How does this shite not drive people crazy? In the past 5 yrs, our best QB was a transfer, that we didn't recruit, and that might be repeated this year.

Harris has played for 2 years. Etling, in his first game, looked better than Harris ever did. If you didn't see the difference between the two of them last night, then you're biased, for whatever reason.
