Per Jay there are several pitchers that can get the job done and it won’t be the job of one guy. Guidry might close some games and he might come out of the pen in the 5th.

Guidry is a high leverage, brief appearance guy. He will throw strikes and get us out of jams, but I don’t like him to have to make a two inning close. I like the way he used him tonight.

If we make one of the three tough defensive plays in the eight game would be over. Lead off guy should have been held to a single.
