I've read a few people say this and it kinda gets me.....

"Oh well, It's just Appy St" I don't think there are enough people here giving this team credit for what they have done over the last 4 or 5 years. 3 NC's in a row isn't easy at ANY level and they were ranked in the top 25 of our division last year. I'm just glad the team isn't taking Appy St as lightly as A LOT of the fans. I promise Appy St isn't thinking they aren't going to win and there coming in with some bad shite on there minds.
Don't get me wrong, I'm as confident as the next guy that we are going to win this game and look good doing it but I think we need to give them a little more credit then most are.

I agree...they are just App State.
Trust me, the players and coaches aren't overlooking them. We will absolutely kill this team because:
1. Our players are better.
2. Our players will be focused
3. Our coaches are better.
4. Our coaches will be focused.
5. Fans on message boards don't play the games.

That's what Mich said too. Don't take them lightly. They are very good and Armanti Edwards is a stud at QB. The Mich game just gave them confidence that they can beat you. I compare it to playing Alcorn St when Steve McNair was there, except Edwards is more dangerous.

It doesn't matter what the people on this message board think about Appy St and what they can do.
Rest assured Les and the boys aren't overlooking this team. That's who counts come next Saturday. Not SFP and his 673,000 posts or TheFranchise or anybody else.

They lost to Wofford and Georgia Southern last year. How do you explain that? Congrats to them for pulling off a huge upset, but let's not get crazy thinking they can play with the big boys.
It won't be the typical 50+ point Div 1-AA blowout, but it'll be a comfortable win. Something like 42-14.

They weren't ranked, they were in the "Also receiving votes" category. However, that was going into week 3 (two weeks after scUM), because the AP didn't allow people to vote for them until then. So who knows if they would've been ranked in week 2, right after they beat Michigan.

It doesn't bother me as much as confuse me. I've been around and involved with sports for 20 years and I've learned 1 thing for sure. If you over look any opponent it will usually be your only loss on the season.
Mich has NO business losing to Appy St last year and they did, the Giants had NO business beating the Patriots and they did. and Fresno St had No business even being in the Tourney and they were and won the whole thing.... You get my drift.
Just confuses me to hear some of the dumb shite that people say sometimes.

what was the point of having them ranked. its not like they could march up the standings and play in a bowl game.
and even if that were a possibility, they only played one game against michigan.

fans or not supose to be focused the entire football team has to be. LSU is focused and well prepared and not over looking APP ST. you see waht happens when LSU is focused and a 100% they demolished Va Tech and owned Ohio St. all APP ST has is a good QB thats its. ya'll worry to damn much.
