I'm drunk, and feeling a little homesick. I love Louisiana and LSU, and I'm proud that Les Miles is our coach. We will run all over Auburn. Screw them.

Geaux Tigers.

Yes... he is very very nice coach. That's great and all but he needs to win championship bottom line! Nobody give shite if he is nice. You are not related to him.. so who cares.

I'm ----- and I'm a negatiger. I have been off the Kool-Aid since 1/9/2012. I started back on for a temporary moment before NOV 5th,2012. I have not touched a drop since. I was weak and almost started back last Saturday in the 1st QTR but was saved from it watching the next 3 QTR's.

Be careful out the Mo. It can be tough gone away from home. Fall is on our doorsteps & football in the air. It really puts things in perspective. Don't get penetrated.

The Context of your post I can agree with, but your title is like saying I work at Pepsi but snort coke.

Yes les miles is an outstanding coach. Players love him, players ball out for Miles. Miles sends the most players to the NFL than any other coach. He is one of the best recruiters. He is a father figure to these players. Miles never yells and is a great guy.

However, where the frick is the hardware to prove it?

I'll go out on a limb here and suggest that "hardware," is just a bonus to doing things the way he does. I truly believe that damn near everyone in college football has lost sight of what the game is supposed to be about. I think having a stand up, likable guy, who puts a competitive team on the field, year in and year out, while occasionally fielding a "special" team is exactly what he's supposed to do.

There are maybe 5 coaches in the game who can claim his lasting success. Subtract the ones you know to compromise their integrity to accomplish their goals and you're down to 1 to maybe 3. Given that, I think asking for more than what you get, year in and year out from Les Miles, is a recipe for always chasing your tail and wishing for the next best thing. The grass isn't always greener on the other side and LSU doesn't "deserve" to always finish in the top 5, despite all of your notions to the contrary...

Fire away, just sayin and yes, I got off early and am feeling no pain, deal with it. Geaux Tigers!

I'm really beginning to believe that the team is set up to just supply the NFL with talent, and I hate the fricking NFL. It's overproduced commercial mind control.

I too was optimistic during the first half last week, but Les reminded me who he is when he left it up to MSU to win or lose the game. In the end, the game was out of his hands. LSU got lucky and MSU missed - twice, with a dropped conversion to boot.
