is solidified. The University has done something tonight I honestly thought was only a remote possibility: embrace and, apparently, plan on preserving the status quo.

There will be many people who will soon or have already (me) lose all interest in the program, but I am aware there are plenty of other fans that are content with mediocrity, and so from a ticket sales standpoint LSU should be fine.

I would have hoped my alma mater would want to strive for excellence. But I was wrong.

Well, it was a good run while it lasted. And as the old saying goes, All Good Things Must Come To An End.

I'm out.

Yep. The truth hurts. The LSU football program has accepted the hard truth: a Top 15 program (well, not THIS year).

LET 'ER RIP!

You aren't out. You'll watch every game next year. Stop running your mouth.

LSU has now become very happy winning 9 games a season, maybe a 10 win season here and there. As long as Miles is coach they will be happy. Miles became bigger than LSU tonight, see Penn st

Dudes right....how the hell can someone really argue with that based on the record? Enlighten me why/how things will change instead of just throwing out some ad hominem

THe Les Miles fans on the board. They came from Ok St. right after he was hired. They have made LSU their new home.

Wow, good thing you aren't a fan of about 110 out of the other 125 college football programs. You sound like an awesome fan. Your team only makes it to two national championship games ever 8 years so you throw in the towel. Nice.

Also, define mediocre, you gutless ****.

I am not surprised Les is staying but there better be some goddamn changes made to the program, mostly on the offense. If Les doesn't realize, after all this, that he needs to make serious changes than its going to be the same ole shite year after year as long as he's here and I don't know if I can watch it
