re: It's official. Leonard Fournette is not human. He was made in a lab.

I don't even think the most avid LSU fan realizes what we're about to see in the backfield the next 2-3 years. Buga & Williams are going to be a nightmare for defenses this year. When people get tired of trying to tackle them we'll have Guice and Brossette to spell them. And just when you think we're done we'll run this guy at you. It's not even fair.

1.24 miles?....how much rest time in between?
even if you had 30 seconds in between, running 20 100 yard sprint is brutal.

It sounds like he is getting himself in shape to carry the ball 30+ times a game, I am just not sure if we will give it to him that much. We have a history of rotating 3-4 backs. But maybe with his conditioning along with the media push and notority both for LF and LSU to win a Heisman, maybe we will see him get that many carries? It would also lessen the burden on a new QB (Harris?), and it would leave very easy matchups for the WR on the outside with all the attention in the box.

It'll be like defenses are trying to tackle 3 bulls (Fournette, Williams, and Ducre) and a greased pig (Guice). And it will be glorious.

The team had to run 20 100's in workouts.

Does anyone else recall hearing that he failed this test last year?
Maybe that's why he killed it, if true.
Found it,
July 2014

i use to do the LSU Freshman workout sprints every summer for football on top of my high school workouts...and i remember the days of running the 110s...the last two days were brutal...20-110s and had to do them under 16 seconds and had 45 seconds in between...now im sure all thats changed because that was in 04,05, and 06 when i did those.

LF actually ran a faster time on the 20th rep than his first rep.

He was also out running the other players.

20 100s? Wow. That's a lot even for track athletes.
