you're right. The problem is that many fans don't see any light at the end of the tunnel and are frustrated beyond belief.
A homerun hire at the DC position and perhaps bringing in a known quantity at QB would go along way to easing the vitriol that's so pervasive on this board right now.

We know it's the coaching.
Urban has proved he can plug in any qb with even no experience and be successful

We can get Braxton, Godson, and who ever else.. if the coaching stays the same the results will to. Had a Good QB last year with dynamite receivers and a great running back.. What happened?! so everybody is so excited and workup about trying to get Braxton.. give it a rest.. it will be the same in the end. it's not the QB! it's the coaching.

Your logic is sooooooo flawed.

I see we have found a new scapegoat.

That poor Les Miles just has bad luck with coordinators. First Fisher was Saban's guy, so they didn't get along. Then Crowton was a bad offensive coordinator. Then Stud wasn't very good, so we had to replace him. Now we have Les telling Cam on the headsets that we have to throw the ball there (bullshite, Les was basically speaking to himself and Cam there, he wasn't scolding Cam for running the ball on 3rd and 3). On the defensive side he lost Pelini, and then had the bad luck of being forced to hire co-DCs. That didn't work, so he got stuck with that 3rd and Chavis guy, which Choctaw is now blaming for the 2013 losses.

Poor Les just can't catch a break.

He's either retarded or trolling. Probably trolling. I hope.

QB coaching is definitely sub par. Hard to believe that none of these kids recruited to lsu are capable of learning. Mett doesn't count, he was pretty primed before he got here. Either way you look at it. It's coaching, either recruit better or coach the kids you recruit better.

We need to do a better job of recruiting a QB, no doubt

LSU shouldn't have to suffer so much, at one position, as we do.

It's on Les & Cam To fix it

and yet he's still winning around 80% of his games....and won an SEC title and made it to the NC with Lee and Jefferson...who were here for 4 years

what a great coach

(but we need someone who can make the throws downfield who also has touch for short throws)

First you have to recruit and develop. That still falls back on coaching.

Yeah, you remember in 2012 with BAMA at Tiger Stadium and on the ropes, LSU 4th and 1 at the BAMA 31, chance to go up by 10, and our coach(Miles) puts, Mettenberger, Beckham, Jarvis, Hill, Shepard, Ford, and Blue on the sidelines, and puts in Spencer Ware to run a Ware Cat sneak. BAMA stuffs the play. It doesn't matter how much talent LSU recruits, if the coach makes bad decisions like above, you will lose big games. Oh yeah 2014, 1st and goal at BAMA 6, 73 seconds to play, Fournette on bench also.

Become a fan of another team. If you don't think the combo of Miller and stronger, more experienced WR's would improve this team, then you don't know much about football.
Our WR's got pushed around all year. They need this offseason almost as much as our QB's do.

What are you talking about. Our offense is stacked and will be number 1 in the SEC next year.
