We're not just chasing Alabama Arkansas and Ole Miss has a better record against us the last three years. Les is a smart man, he should've known last year when Alleva did not give him the money to hire a top Dc his job was being evaluated. He has had lackluster offenses since the 2011 NC game. To go along with his almost .500 SEC record and losing SEC west record. Alleva gave him a raise in the middle of all that. I guarantee you he was told or hinted to that the offense needed to start producing. He refused to change. In today's world LSU is a big boy in college football. LSU has too resources facilities and athletes to settle for mediocre. Like it or not LSU football is a business to and you all know Les was not getting it done. There's too many other big programs that fell off for waiting too long to fire a coach.

The media isn't taking up for Miles, in fact, it's the exact opposite.

Have you been watching ESPN for the last 24-hours?

So you're saying Les was playing with a stacked deck against him? Should Alleva and company throw a large sum of money at new coordinators now instead of paying tens of millions in buyouts?

I'm saying Miles knew what was happening last year and he did nothing about it! The writing was on the wall.
