but we have to. No one knows whether he will or not.

I know I'm captain obvious - but either
1. he hasn't changed in 11 years, why is he now?
2. the administration has made it clear he has to change the offense, and he will.

which way will it be?

I've said it before and i'll say it again - I've seen enough from miles and his staff to see that they could do it if they wanted to. I think it's more philosophy than anything.

the frustration on this board is overwhelming, though.

what's more frustrating - it's almost a guaranteed win in the bowl game if we just ground and pound. so we might not see any changes which doesn't necessarily mean we won't see any next year. we might have to wait months and agonizing months!

oh the agony!

I mean I don't know what the hell people want to see. The last 3 games of the season we saw a clear "change" in philosophy to try and appease people and it clearly backfired. You want to know what won us the game against aTm? When we finally decided to stop playing around and run the damn ball right at them.

Its not going to happen anyway.

This is Miles brand of football. Always has been, always will be.

Well for the 17 total minutes of game I stayed for at Ole Miss, we ran the same play almost every drive.

They do have a terrible run defense.

Don't worry, we'll see significant improvement next year.

Sad thing is, I don't think he will need to change for this game. So unfortunately, if we come out with the win after running the same offense, Miles and those on his side will talk about how great the offense looked.

His offense is good enough to beat 9 teams on the schedule every year. And every 4 or 5(hopefully) years it all comes together and we can win the west. To some that is good enough.

Miles thinks his offense is the best way to win games, why would he decide to change that?

I think one could make an argument that we didn't change anything - we were getting our arses whupped and we had to try and score.

are you saying miles has been right all along? he'll ignore the passing game cause it's the right thing to do?

Nobody cares if we run the ball when fournettes going for 250. It's when he's running into an Alabama brick wall over and over again, and never trying anything else. That's when it gets ridiculous.

They'll open it up a little more for the bowl and be back to normal at Lambeau.
