To the Stringers, Dre is a pleasure to watch on the court, he is the consummate team player, never complained, did his best, has passion for the game and played the game the RIGHT way. Without a doubt he is a favorite of mines. Here's hoping the team can bottle some magic and make one of those memorable runs in the SEC Tourney.

Don't post much, but thought I would let you know that my son (4 years old) has watched a few games with me, and for some reason attached himself to #10... In other words loves the guy. We watched "The Pistol" one day and then watched a BBall game the next evening, and he has been a big fan of LSU BBall since. He always calls himself "#10 Andre Stringer." Now every time we go to the gym or dribble a ball around the house, he tells me he is with LSU and he's "#10 Andre Stringer" and I'm with the Denver Nuggets(???). Anyway, God bless the Stinger family, and best of luck to Andre in the future.

No, he hasn't. While we are big fans of LSU sports in general, we haven't made a game at the PMAC this year. Life has us bottled up, but would love to get him up to BR to see a game next year and possibly meet Andre in the future. I feel like I've watched Andre and cheered for him to shoot 3's for a while now, and it will be odd not seeing him play in the P&G next year. Let's hope he gets a shot to make a run in the NIT!!!

Thank you, and Andre is a great representative of LSU basketball. I hope the team gets to make a run in whichever tourney they're invited to. I'm glad our fans were respectful and will continue to be of our coaches and student athletes. Never know who's reading.

Andre is one of my favorite tigers of all time, he will be missed.

His jump shot is a truly thing of beauty.

Would love to, and I bet my son would wear him out with questions if he gets beyond the shock of meeting him and his initial shyness.

Let's get some SECT wins and see what happens going forward. Maybe LSU can pull off an NIT home game with some luck, and I will make every effort to get him up to BR.

well said.

I'm very partial to 4 year guys. I'm not anti one and done, because that means you're winning to some degree. But I graduate this year, as do many others who followed basketball very closely, and I feel a special connection to him and others. It's sad really. I wanted the tournament for him so badly
