Dude hasn't even coached a game yet here and the "told you so" crowd is already out after reading stats from a scrimmage.

Those same people will be here to downvote this thread soon.

In all honesty if both are co-inhabited, then LSU shares an unusually high number of freaking idiots.

Ding ding ding. I was actually surprised when I looked at his scoring O's over his career. #9 last year was NOT the norm.

After clicking on the link, it looks like that thread was started after the 1st quarter of the Pitt-Clemson game. And the OP called Clemson "Clemmy".

I'm assuming the downvotes had more to do with the thread itself than Canada.
This.

you should know by now that any coach that doesn't currently coach here is not that good. but once lsu hires a coach, they are the best in the nation.

I'm a fan of Canada, but...

Do you mean NIU? Because he was there for only one MAC title.

No he is not.

Finalist. As was Gary crowton who was run out of town.

Fact is, we would be laughing if any other SEC big 6 school hired O, and would not be impressed if they hired Canada.

Many here don't see what they don't want to see. Just saying.

Eh, well we were also certain Jumbo or Herman would be the head coach and OC wouldn't be that big of an issue.

I remember one time when LSU hired a coach back in Dec. '99 and a LOT folks thought his career had been largely average too.
