It may be early to really talk about the Heisman...

but it's still nice to see TM7 getting some recognition after that stellar performance Saturday night. He's moved up into third place in this promo contest. If he keeps performing at the same level of intensity, he's going to keep his name in the conversation, and that's awesome.

(he gets mentioned by Pat Forde in the vid up in the top right corner)

It's way way way way way way too early.

But OTOH, if you don't get mentioned in week 1, you have no shot.

Its way too difficult for a DB to win the Heisman bc teams can simply just throw to the opposite side of thr field. PP7 would have a few games where you would rarely hear his name so for TM7 is going to need some sick punt returns this year to keep his name in the mix for games he doesnt make a big defensive play

nice to see him get the pub, but he has no shot. Just like PP7 a year ago.. he just might be the best player in cfb (not saying he is just saying it is possible) but he plays nickle and would need to score a TD every game or even 2 a game. As good as he is I don't see that happening. Meanwhile Kellen Moore (sp?) will be lighting it up vs one of the worst schedules I have seen in years.

I'm just a big fan of his stripping/punching the ball out and running it back for a TD move. Did it in the Cotton Bowl, did it against Oregon... if we can get one of those per game, it would be enough to keep his name hot on the watch list.

I agree with this, and realistically, I don't expect him, even with a stellar complete season, to get the nod, but the recognition is great, esp for a soph.

The Heisman may as well already be in Andrew Luck or Landry Jones possession. It is undoubtedly going to one of those two players

ETA: The recognition is great though

It's way too early, but Baylor QB RG3 would win today.
