It just occurred to me, Miles in 12 years has yet to recruit and....

1. Develop a QB who has progressed and improved over his 4 years at LSU. (freshman to Senior year)
2. Became somewhat of star in the SEC and nationally known for his play
3. Drafted by the 3rd round
JR, RP and MF were all recruited and brought in under Jimbo/Saban (RP came in Miles first class) Jimbo was OC
Miles brought in JLEE, and JJ and we know how that went. Miles should be credited for bringing in transfer Mettenberger who was the best QB we've had since MF (2007)
So who has Miles went out and recruited , brought in and developed in 12 years? Not talking about transfers, that's another issue all together. Recruited out of HS, brought in and developed into a star at LSU
* Brandon Harris is now benched
* Jarrett Lee Played 4 years, mostly up and down, (I liked him) Miles never trusted him after his freshman pick 6's.
* Jordan Jefferson never lived up to his skill set. MNC game was real low point for senior playing his last game
* RP came in Miles' first year, but Jimbo recruited him, lets be honest. He was a major talent. And of course was kicked off the team. I never realized how badly RP being dismissed would hurt our program at the QB position. It truly did. I thought it would be a 2 year deal, well, it's turned into a decade of a mess that Miles frankly has yet to recover from.
I'm getting upset just writing this...no wonder I feel deprived in my LSU football life...
I want to experience joy watching the Tigers play offense.
Is that selfish? I mean after 10 years, dang man.,...this sucks
I 'm tired of analyst saying " the LSU coaches appear to be hiding their QB, when you get into the middle of your SEC schedule, this will be exposed"
Tonight will be telling, I predict more of the same under Miles. He will try to protect Etling and play it close to the vest because he has LF. Sorry be a downer but I am upset our Head Coach doesn't fix his problems that plaque an elite program.
I love my Tigers, this coach better let the horses run with some freedom or I am going to continue to express the wounds from my scorned heart on the Rant. I used to a positiger...now, I am demanding change! #justbeingafan

RP coming to LSU was all Miles. He was not coming under Saban/Jimbo.

Wasn't RP committed to Texas, or at least a hard lean to Texas until Miles was hired?

I hear you, I finally taking a minute from working all week to think about the Tigers and this situation.
I don't want to necessarily bring a downer news or thoughts on game day, but you probably shouldn't read the rant on game day. LOL...
for real, this place is where can share a bond and vent. It's hard to be excited about this team when we have seen 1 Qtr of offense out of 8 thus far.
I apologize if I brought you down, the bottom line is, Miles needs to change or he needs to go

I think RP didn't like Saban...was going elsewhere until coaching change
Maybe Saban smelled trouble...RP never lived up to the talent because of character issues

He has recruited and developed an all-SEC player at EVERY other position in the field though.
