It is time for the Jennings experiment to end

If Brandon Harris is truly the future of LSU football then he needs to get more playing time under his belt for next year. If the QB play this year is what we are to expect going forward there is absolutely no way LSU wins any kind of championship with this kind of QB play.
The blame lies squarely on Cam Cameron and Les Miles, with all the 4 & 5 star talent we have on offense if this is the best our offense can do than they have done a piss poor job coaching these kids up. It is absolutely pathetic to watch our offense be so ineffective in the passing game. Obviously there were some drops this past weekend that could have been and should have been caught, but even if the passes that were dropped were added in as catches we would have still only been 12/26. That is just unacceptable plain and simple.
I am sick and tired of the excuse being "youth & inexperience" most of this blame lies on the head coach and OC. The defense as poorly as it played in the first half of the season has been coached up and has stepped up and played really great defense for the past 4 games. Chavis found the right mix of players and has done a great job in coaching those players up so that they are playing championship caliber defense. What the hell is Cam Cameron doing that he can't do the same. This pro-style offense is becoming a no-style offense. We are way too predictable and way to ineffective in our offensive schemes.
At this point the big question is whether Cameron actually righted a ship last year or was just captain of a ship that was destine to be successful with 4 skill players now playing on Sundays "Mett, Juice, OBJ and Hill." To me their talents had more to do with why LSU was so offensively productive last year than Cameron being some offensive genius & guru.
Jennings is not the answer to winning championships so please let's try and find out with the remaining 3 games "bowl game included" if Harris is the answer.

Has Les ever said that Brandon Harris is the future of LSU football?

Just playing Devil's Advocate here ... but, IF he is so good and "the answer" ... then why has he not TAKEN the starting job yet?
I have a hard time believing that CLM, Cam, and the others are so stubborn to refuse to see IF Harris is so much better than Jennings.
Maybe we just need to start from scratch at QB.

If Chavis hadn't called of the dogs the same way he did in 2012, we would have won Saturday and this thread wouldn't exist. Yeah the offense sucked, but playing prevent defense and allowing Bama to march down the field with no time outs and in less than a minute was disgusting. And spare me any comments about the kick out of bounds. That was 10 yards, not the 50 other yards they gained.

Well we know it isn't Jennings so lets see Harris for the next 2 games.

It's not happening. You need to accept the fact that Jennings is our QB for the next 2 games, very likely the bowl, and at the very worst has a 50/50 shot as being the starter next year

Same reason Jefferson took the starting job back the second he was available even with Lee playing lights out minus 2 passes at Alabama.

jennings will be the starter in 2015 and 2016. I truly believe that.
hope i'm proven wrong.

They didn't play prevent.
Lsu blitzed on one occasion with Mills.

Les has his guys with more experience that he thinks give the best chance to win. Jennings will be the starter until he is hurt, suspended, or out of eligibility.

I think with nothing much to lose the rest of the season...oops...forgot about the BOOT ...but seriously...if the coaches had any doubt as to who the future QB should be, there is no point in not playing him.
Imo, Harris has way more upside than Jennings...but he needs a lot of PT

with everyone else giving the receivers a 10-12 yard cushion.

Les is waiting till Harris is ready. He's pulled him once and he can't do it again. The next time Harris starts will be the last time Jennings sees the field as a starter. I predict to see Harris in game 1 of next year.

He's a nice guy and I like his attitude. I think he brings enough to the table on his end to succeed. I think the coaching staff is more to blame. We dont have a QB talent problem, we have a QB development problem.

There is no reason to think this will actually happen.

lsufball19 are you fricking serious???? Do you understand football at all??? Our defense allowed only 13points in regulation play, that and that alone should guarantee us a win each and every time. If LSU's offense can't score more than 13 points at home then we never deserve to win no matter what the opposing offense does.
You are 1,000% wrong our defense put us in a position to win that game, forget the last drive that is totally irrelevant. Our defense gave the ball back to our offense with less than 2 minutes to play on the Bama 6 yard line and all we got out of it was 3 points. That is totally unacceptable.
This game had nothing to do with our defense and how they played, they played great. This game should have never gotten down to overtime. Do you realize that we absolutely controlled the 2nd half of the game and couldn't score shite!!!!!
