I'd love to see a game in Baton Rouge and BYU has a venue/backdrop second to none.

Yes, indeed. BYU fans would really enjoy a game in Tiger Stadium, and I'm not sure there's a more beautiful setting for a college football stadium than Provo.

Probably not going to happen. LSU needs exposure and money in addition to victories to stay nationally competitive. Money comes from home games in our 100k+ stadium, and the SEC TV contracts. The 14 school SEC requires 8 SEC games with half being away. Since NCAA allows only 12 games that leaves only 4. LSU prefers to play only 1 high paying TV game against a quality opponent that would normally demand a home and away series at a one and done "neutral site" for money and exposure. This normally gives us 7 home games, 4 away SEC games, and 1 neutral site high pay exposure game. A home-away series with BYU would result in a 6.5 home game average over two years.

We could do a neutral site game in Houston or Dallas and still play a power 5 NCG.

Actually the backdrop is second to some. Most notably CU- Boulder where the far more beautiful Flatirons are green and dramatic. But I'll give you top five.

Good game . Your QB , Jim Plunkett, has not aged a bit. I was waiting for you to roll out John Brodie, Roman Gabriel or Jim Hart next though.

Classy post! Have a great season.

I concur. A very classy post. I welcome a guest fans comments and could do with fewer glib retorts.

Good luck the rest of the season. Please try not to judge LSU fans on the few, the proud, the RanTards that you have encountered on this forum!

The good news for you guys is that after playing us on turf, your next game will feel like it's in slow motion for your players. It is going to seem like Utah is wearing cinder blocks for cleats.

BYU wasn't pure crap. I thought their defense played pretty well.

I was showing the people that were sitting around me pictures of your stadium. They were all amazed and said they'd honestly be interesting in seeing LSU play there. I might have to take a trip to that game if it happens
Hope y'all win out and finish 11-1 on the season

We had one in 636 as well. I posted his picture. Embodiment of the Drunken Vulgar(kids everywhere up there) Negatiger.

Their LB's and DB's had some very solid form tackles on Guice, not counting the targeting hit.

I don't think the "targeting" warranted an ejection. I know it's an automatic ejection, but I think it was a bad call tbh.
